are the options to travel to Jeju Island from Busan? You can choose to either
travel by flight and ferry.
Taking a plane from Busan airport is rather convenient but
expensive. Hence, a lot of budget travelers choose to take a ferry instead. Even though it takes approximately 12 hours
(as it is an overnight ferry), but it is comparably cheap and more comfortable
than expected.
Information provided for the ferry is limited on internet as
it is all written in Korean. Hence, we’ve sorted out the important information
and share it to you.

Ticket Reservation:
To reserve the ticket, you can either book it on Seokyung’s
company website or via phone reservation.
I would recommend you to book it via phone (ask the hostel
or your Korean friends to book it for you) as an ID will be needed for internet
booking, and not to mention the webpage is written only in Korean. If you made
a phone reservation, you will need to inform them your name and departure date,
that’s it. You will pay the money upon arrival to the counter at ferry terminal.
